Product Usability: We did not have any major issues installing and/or using the software provided.

File availability: There were a few obscure tracks we had difficulty locating, but after 'tweaking' our search technique we were able to locate them.

File Quality/Usability: We found the quality and usability of the files to be above average. At times we ended up getting files that had static and screeching sounds embedded within them, however we already had a utility that would detect these corrupted files before downloading so it was not much of a problem.

Download speeds: Using a T1 (very fast) Internet connection, we didn't experience any delays in getting files, however sometimes they would get 'queued' up while others were downloading the file at the same time. After searching for the file again on a different source we were able to download it rather quickly.

Software compatibility: MP3DownloadHQ offers software for most versions of Windows (95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP), as well as Mac (OS X and Classic) and Linux.

Member Benefits: MP3DownloadHQ provides access to a few different programs from their member site, but the only incentive we found was a free music player program, which we were unable to locate once we registered.

Product/Service Costs: MP3DownloadHQ offers 3 payment options, including a $37.95 Lifetime package, a $23.76 2 year package and a $17.88 1 year download package.

Exchange/Refund Policy: MP3DownloadHQ claims to allow cancellations up to the end of the membership cycle (end of the month for monthly memberships - which they do NOT offer - and end of the year for yearly memberships. Additionally, they claim to offer refunds at the managers discretion.

Customer Service: We've dealt with their Customer Service team on a few occasions (mainly when we requested access for this review), and they responded promptly and courteously, offering whatever we needed to complete this review.

Technical Support: We would rate MP3DownloadHQ's Technical Support above average. Like their Customer Service team, they responded promptly and courteously to our request for assistance.

Online Help/FAQs: We would rate their online help feature as below average. There is much information, however it's confusing, and has a lot of useless advertising and deals which have nothing to do with downloading music.
